A HUGE spider and a FREEBIE!

I am linking up with Valerie over at All Students Can Shine for her Fall Linky Party!  She’s hosting it for the entire month of October….so there’s lots of time left to head over and get some great ideas for Fall!

Speaking of Fall, as of Friday at 2:45pm I am officially on Fall Break. We get a whole week off to rest and recuperate.  I’m sure at some point during the week, I will end up working in my classroom.  I feel like the last few weeks have been a blur and I just need some time to get back on top of things!!!  There are also some things I am going to change while my kiddos are away…..I have definitely decided to try community supplies!   I’ll let you know how it goes.

I just posted a new product in my TpT store.  I think my kids are going to really enjoy this one!  It’s a spider number sort to help them work on numbers 0-10.   I included two sets of mats and cards to give students opportunities to practice matching numbers to sets and matching sets to numbers!  Click here to check out the Spider Number & Sets Sort.

And now for the FREEBIE!  These are spider match cards for practicing matching numbers to sets 0-10.  Simply print, laminate, cut the spider cards apart…..and you’ve got yourself a quick math  activity.  There are 4 different colored spider sets for you to choose from.  Print one or print them all!!  Click on the picture below to download!

Speaking of spiders, take a look at this monster of a spider
that my kids spotted right outside our back door!

You should have heard the screaming that was going on.  Not from my kids…..from me.  Seriously.  I really, REALLY dislike bugs, spiders and generally anything that flies, crawls, hops, or slithers.  My kids, on the other hand, thought it was pretty cool.  Unfortunately the spider met an untimely demise when our door “accidentally” smashed it as we were leaving for recess.  So sad.

I hope everyone has a great Monday!! It’s going to feel weird to be at home in my pajamas instead of at school working…..but I’m going to enjoy every minute!
Yay for breaks!!!!

I can't stop laughing! "Unfortunately the spider met an untimely demise when our door "accidentally" smashed it as we were leaving for recess. So sad." Poor spider!

I love your spider freebie, thank you for sharing. Unfortunately I did not save it on my PC and my laminator screwed up the black spiders ๐Ÿ™ I can find packet on Pinterest and on the web but can't seem to find the link to re download. If you are able, and when time permits, can you please email me black spiders.
Now you have a gorgeous new spider packet on TpT's, if you have decided to discontinue the freebie in favour of the new packet I will understand ๐Ÿ™‚
    kind regards
